Which School of the following would you pick and why? Assuming money is no issue. I just want to know others opinions- I have already made my decision so these will not affect me. I've just heard a crazy amount of VERY different opinions about each, so what are your thoughts (it can be related to academics, area, size etc.)

Pace University, Hofstra University, The College of Saint Rose, Russell Sage College (Troy NY), Mercy College, CUNY City College, CUNY Queens College

If I had to pick from those schools, depends on what I wanted to do.

If my focus was on professional school (medical, law), probably Hofstra. I think it has the best reputation.

If not, then probably City College for Engineering. I don't think the others have Engineering schools.

You don't pick schools because of their name, you pick schools based upon the program that they have, in the area of study that you wish to pursue.

Well. Schools generally have a good name for a reason.

But beyond that argument, out of the ones he listed, what is to separate them if you were to be pre-med or liberal arts except for the name?

Honestly, I wouldn't consider any of those schools because none of them offer what I want.

I agree, it depends on what you want to study. I picked Pace because they have a great business program. I also personally know many Pace graduates that were able to establish successful careers both in the NYC metro area and elsewhere.

You put careful thought into your selection. You applied to all of those schools. You want to be a teacher. Go to the school that will cost you the least amount of money and will allow you to graduate with the least amount of debt.

I already know what school I am going to. I also know why I applied... I have already taken what everyone else has said into consideration and like I said I know where I will be in the Fall. I was just wondering what school YOU would pick...

Most people don't know anything about those schools to make an informed decision. I wouldn't pick any of them because I wouldn't want to go to school in that area. Which schools in Montana would you pick to attend?
