This was funny after snowmagedeon Reading comments from people thinking we wouldn't get much. I hate hate snow. Maybe Monument wasn't the best choice....hahaha

Most of Colorado Springs had little to nothing in accumulation - i.e. already mostly melted. But those that got hit got hit. Typical for us.

Ok I'm hoping the snow is gone until fall. I planted flowers (a day after mothers day). Now how to protect them from hail....

Like mom always told us here "do not plant until after Mother's Day", so you should be safe!!


Unfortunately you are correct that hail will be a hazard for another month or so. Just when things get growing WHAM!! All gone.......
