Got about 5 inches in my backyard just north-east of Boulder, and it is still snowing. I have house guests who are heading to Eldora right now. So jealous, as I can't join them - have to work! Eldora is reporting 12 inches in the last 24 hours, 32 in the last 72 hours.

I see reports of all the snow on the divide and north and east and nothing here but stupid howling wind. I'm jealous.

Lots of heavy wet snow in Boulder, roads are bad. I can only guess having BVSD on break is part of the reason the roads are not cleared.
I think we are above projected 10 inches by now, maybe a foot, and it keeps on coming.

The way the stuff is piling up, clearing the roads, other than trying to keep major arteries passable is a waste of time.

I guess it's good that some people love this - it's abysmal to me. Glad to be leaving in less than 3 weeks. Snow right now is so depressing, ugh.

True. We won't shovel our driveway until the evening

Plows are both blessing a curse. Many neighbors who carefully cleared their drives and walks yesterday evening awoke today to find ice boulder fields blocking their path. One neighbor has an ice boulder the height of his sedan sitting at the end of his driveway!
