Not anymore. Maybe this new restaurant is the replacement.

I saw that too. It definitely says its for Costco and hiring in Columbus Georgia. What I find odd is that it's a position for a food product demonstrator. I wouldn't think they would start hiring for that position until after a store was built close to it's opening. It's also odd as I would think they would start by hiring managerial staff first. Another thing I noticed is they also have a position listed in Opelika. Perhaps they are running product demonstrations in the area somewhere seperate from a Costco store. My guess is they are planning a store for Columbus and this may tie in with some type of early promotion prior to it being announced, or around the time of it's announcement. Either way I think it's good news as it shows some kind of activity by Costco in the area.

I'm wondering the same thing. Here's a link to Costco's jobs/careers search page:

https://wfa.kronostm.com/index.jsp?l...ostcoNonReqExt

If you select "Georgia" from the drop-down list, Columbus is not listed under "City." When I do the same thing for Alabama, I don't see Opelika listed, either. Are you guys looking at a different website?

I was looking on a job site when I saw it. I'll try to find it again when I get home from work today.
