Not sure what you consider affordable, but I went to Shore and Country Kitchens on the Post Road in Fairfield. There's also a place up on Kings Highway called Cameo Kitchens. One is run by a father, the other by his son.

Hummm... Not sure why I never responded to this thread unless it is because it was originally asked about the coast.

I would check out Martin Cabinets in Plainville. A lot of builders use them because they are good quality for a reasonable price. They have a somewhat limited selection but still will do custom work. Our original kitchen had Martin Cabinets and we used them when we added a pantry unit and some decorative cabinets. We were pleased.

That said we recently redid our kitchen and used another, more upscale line of cabinets that our kitchen designer and contractor recommended but all of our original Martin Cabinets were sent on to find a new life with Habitat for Humanity. They are a little selective on what cabinets they will take but when they saw them they said they were great. I hope they went to a good use. Jay
