Regarding dewpoints in the 60s and 70s could be going into mid July. Give me a break with this Tropical weather here.
Now with more of the same coming, this graph below will look even more crazy

BDR Dewpoint comparison June 15th to July 12th last year vs this year. Only 6 times lower this yr with relentless 70s past 19 days.

Next weekend is starting to look GREAT!! But since we're in this hot pattern I dont believe any cool downs the long range is showing. (see how it works?) We'll see.

With the low temp of 68° at BDR that makes it 18 nights in a row above normal. Incredible. Here's the daily data
Down here on the coast it does seem like the nights have been very tropical. 68 F is about the normal low in Baltimore, MD or spots on the lower Chesapeake Bay.

Looks like another hot week coming as that Bermuda High builds in again this weekend.

Look on the bright side - your banana plants will be massive by October!

And that's the first time since June 27 the low even went below 70! Everyone in CT and the tri-state area finally went below 70 except JFK last night.

Looks like a possible cold winter. Cant wait! Got 3 cords of seasoned wood ready. Thanks for the tips Cam on how to tell if its seasoned or not. I tested a bunch on a nice outdoor fire. I think I am ready. Oil prices have been going up as well. Firewood takes some work but the savings are worth it. I have 5/8 of a tank of heating oil and am going to try and last the tank into next spring.

Cam- Had a ton of outdoor work planned today. Here along the shore in Branford its been showery, damp, and cloudy. Thought today was going to be decent?

IF you dont touch the thermostat(maybe few times) I have no doubts that 5/8 tank will last you till Spring 2014.

Yeah, I was hoping drier weather myself but looks like the spin of the upper low is pushing some Atlantic moisture right into us.

You see that spin over Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky? Thats the Upper Level Low. Thats helping push moisture from the Atlantic into us and also helping keep us cloudy.

It will be gone. Tomorrow should be nicer. Then scattered pop up storms all week but will be drier than today.

Thursday a front moves in which will lead to a long awaited relief.

I'd believe that tropical connection and bananas. Several times in the past two weeks, I knocked away some mushrooms that were springing up in my yard's east side. Normally, there are NEVER any mushrooms.

Trying to remember the last time I saw an east-to-west moving low pressure system.

Talk about crazy weather...
