-3 million and some change.

Can't wait for the mill rate to go up to compensate.

Yup, kind of same for New Fairfield ... was $4 million + FROM the state. Now we OWE $2 million to it.... so net net -$6 million +. It's mind blowing... and we just passed our budgets this past Saturday based on the February numbers, before this bombshell hit yesterday. We didn't increase Town or school budgets at all over last year ($0 increase..) and that still was going to equate to a 4% increase in our taxes, for nothing in return. I haven't run the numbers yet, but off the top of my head I'm thinking our taxes will now go up about 5.5%, without any benefit to our town or schools, if this thing passes

South Windsor is losing just over 12 million and is receiving less than Glastonbury. That's surprising since SW is less population and less wealthy. SW will raise taxes no doubt about it. I have family there and the bills are extremely high as it is right now. This will only increase their willingness to move out of state and they're not alone.

I'm not arguing that fact at all. I just hope I can sell my house when it's time.

Well my town would lose a lot. Talk about a big tax increase with nothing to show.

Also don't understand how so many cities are getting a bigger increase than New Haven, which has plenty of poverty and a massive amount of untaxed education property. Weird.

Malloy is like a political suicide bomber at this point.
