Thought today was cold? Radiational cooling tonight drops us in the teens & then tomorrow will be a bit colder than today.

Here's the temp difference tomorrow from today.

This is a great site for monitoring personal weather stations. I have around a dozen station's within a few miles of me. One of the best maps for monitoring temperatures.

WunderMap® | Interactive Weather Map and Radar | Weather Underground

Also, this is one of the most interesting CT stations. Norfolk, CT. (Correction) The high there was 28 today. I think it is one of the coldest stations in CT. They are forecasted to get down to the single digits tonight.

Cool links. Norfolk's high was 28 today.

It's the elevation that makes it that cold. 1300 feet.
Here's another station in winsted that is at 1300 feet Torrington, CT Weather Forecast from Weather Underground

Some very cold numbers out there. Danbury hit 14 twice this month. I have to look back and see when the last time that happened was
Normally they don't go below 16 until Dec 6th

Graph I made showing how many times Danbury, CT has dipped below 20°F in November since 1998.

0 in 2012 meanwhile it was the 10th coldest at BDR. Go figure.

Temps look to steadily increase throughout the next week, maybe even hitting 50 towards the end of the week. I tried picking a centralized location. I hope this doesn't slow down the momentum on the ski slopes

Yeah, I'm trying to get back in the groove of looking ahead now..

Technically it's a warm up considering what we've been through but by no means is it warm. Thurs-Friday seem to be the warmest days but take a look at what NWS Upton says...

FOR MUCH OF THE WEEK THE AREA IS ON THE SOUTHERN PERIPHERY OF COLDER
ARCTIC AIR WITH MAINLY ZONAL FLOW ALOFT...OUTSIDE OF A WEAK UPPER
TROUGH TUESDAY. THIS WILL KEEP TEMPS SLIGHTLY BELOW NORMAL THROUGH
THE WEEK
WITH HIGHS IN THE 40S AND LOWS IN THE UPPER 20S TO LOWER
30S.

So we'll still be below normal for this time of year.

And regarding the 4th Storm...

AS FOR PRECIP TYPE WITH ANY PRECIPITATION ON TUESDAY INTO
WEDNESDAY...CURRENTLY LOOKS COLD ENOUGH TUESDAY MORNING FOR
MUCH OF THE AREA TO SEE SNOW INCLUDING COASTAL AREAS...BUT ONLY FOR
A BRIEF TIME. ALL AREAS EXCEPT FOR FAR NORTH AND WEST WILL CHANGE TO
RAIN DURING THE DAY AND END AS SNOW AS WEDNESDAY MORNING. THIS AGAIN
ALL DEPENDS ON THE TRACK AND STRENGTH OF THE LOW
. RIGHT NOW IT LOOKS
LIKE ANY PRECIP WOULD BE LIGHT IN NATURE.

Here's Fridays potential max temps
