Sorry Bridgeport.... Washington Dulles has now past Bridgeport, CT for snow departure. BDR is 30.2" above normal to date, Dulles is 31.4" above normal as of 5pm 3/25.

Current radar. Snow slowly making its way into the region. JFK reporting light snow now.

I put a couple gallons of water per day into the air in my house! Damp it is not.
Like I said, I couldn't leave anything made of plain steel in the garage for long or it would grow rust all over. Had to steal closets inside for storing vulnerable tools and equipment.

That's weird. I have left all of my tools in my garage, basement and shed for years and none are rusting. Actually, most of my tools are hand me downs from my father, which he also kept in his garage, basement and shed for years.

Still sour grapes, I see.

Yeah... we're missing this by 100-150 miles. Had the storm been West that much Boom right over us. Track, Track, Track. Wow.

Winds at 4000 feet are at 92 mph!! Mixing down to surface so the capes are gusting to 60-70mph with snow! Feels like teens too.

Mostly 30s in CT and dry except light snow over New London county.

Winds are roaring at 42mph here! I cant imagine what they are going through on the capes with 60-70mph winds with snow and now the ocean is flooding the streets. Wires and Trees going down. They are getting ripped

Consider yourself lucky guys.

Current Pressure and Wind Chills. Isn't it April in 6 days??

That looks absolutely miserable. Really glad we didn't get it.

April is indeed in 6 days! Here's hoping we hit 50s+ for the rest of the week.

So how are you guys liking January all over again?...without the snow... High temps only in the 30s with sunshine. Gotta love that sun angle and water temps huh.

Its all about whats going on above and the temps aloft are VERY cold for this time of year (-10C) so that's not letting the surface warm up much. Add North West winds and its even tougher.

I've been in storm mode al day.. unfortunately ..or lucky... it wasn't for us.

I wonder how we'll finish March with this little warm up coming.

We have friends in a similar situation, their property slopes and their garage is a basement garage. During the summer anything in the garage grows mold, or gets rusty. They solved the problem by running a dehumidifier in the garage for the summer months.
