This is impressive guys...

Philly max temp so far is 58. If that holds .... the Last time staying below 59° in June was .... 1946.

NYC 55°. Last time was 1982.

We're near the extreme cold max for the entire month (which usually comes beginning of June anyway I guess). But Pretty impressive and interesting to experience

Trenton, NJ max temp so far is 56 today (as of 6pm).. Last time staying below 58° in June was .... well, records only back to 1998 and it has never happened. lol

I forgot about this site. Usually use it for snow totals, forgot they had precip totals as well. These are all the reports that came in. You can zoom in and click each report.

Rainfall totals last 72hrs. http://www.erh.noaa.gov/hydromet/hydrometDisplay.php?event=stormTotalv3_72&element= pcpn&centeron=ERH

Rainfall is pretty much done now. Gees

Bridgeport, CT precip graph for the year. Up to 15.32" to date which is only 2.99" below normal now for the year. 30.88" in 1983 was the most we had at this point.

isn't it crazy to see how much less sometimes the "official" stations have near us?

I have 18.6" not far off from BDR. That's because I got 4" last 3 days, they only got 1.52". So I got double what they got.

Latest Euro00z data for Danbury,CT

This area and most of New England stays near or below normal till mid next week. Have to wait another 7+ days for 80s and even that is mid range so who knows. Notice the dew points don't get back into the 60s until it warms up. Shows no rain till Tuesday. Not sure I buy that!

This is just too Cool! I'm hooked on this webcam from Long Island now.

Time lapse video from 5/31/15. Watch the storm on Saturday that crossed over Fairfield County,CT. First you'll see the shelf cloud, then watch the rain shafts! You can see why not everyone gets the heavier rains! Too cool to see. I was under that heavy rain shaft inside the storm.

At 1:00 you'll see the sun disappear and clouds build in. Southerly Flow all along.
At 1:10 watch the mothership shelf cloud move across
(that's when it got pitch dark here)
at 1:15 watch the heavy rain shaft move across
at 1:27 watch the clouds reverse direction! Front had passed and we had a NW flow.

Too bad doesn't pick up the lightning which there was a ton of with the storm

Neat look at the Max Temp departures at BDR.

Notice in the winter we can range from 10+ above normal to -10+ below normal.

Notice February most days were 10+ below and in May many days 10+ above.

Last time we had back to back negative departures as deep as we just had was Mid February
