Especially because the job is very good. But I would be open to moving into another apartment in the area. One that's not near a busy road.

Furthermore, in March, we will be eligible to receive a raise and a bonus. So whatever the outcome of that is may influence my decision.
Then ABSOLUTELY stay at your job and suck up the rest. You're lucky to have one, which I'm sure you already know!!: ) And, pfffff- 30 = SO YOUNG still! You have your whole life in front of you, and a few good years left to figure out what's the right fit for you.

P.S. Re: your follow-up post about Rockland County/Tarrytown . . . rough commit to Stamford for sure. Look north, to a quiet neighborhood in NC. I think you'll like it and your commute to work will be an easy one. Good luck!

Yeah, who knows. Maybe central Norwalk contributed to giving me a negative impression of FFC. It's honestly not that nice of an area. Actually, it's a total dump compared to most of FFC.

But yeah, today, my manager (a beautiful, nice woman) was telling me about all the new interesting work that I will be exposed to in the summer. And I thought to myself, "oh geez....I would feel awful for leaving so soon....they really like me." A few weeks ago, I was showing her how to use a new spreadsheet that I created and made her job so much easier. She loved it and said, "geez....see, I need you for things like this....and this will really come in handy next fall." She then glanced at me with a beautiful smile and said, "hopefully you're still here!" And they have been giving me increasing responsibility with so many facets of the department. When I think of all of the above, then think of leaving so soon......that's when I think to myself, "sigh.....they will be very innocently disappointed....I can't leave this company just yet."
