Hello everyone.
Looking for suggestions. Places to go / things to do in Southbury, CT and the surrounding area: We are a family with two elementary school-aged children. The kids have a few regularly scheduled activities that they participate in (after school and weekends). Need some new ideas for things mainly on weekends, geared towards children or families. Looking for anything, whether it's an ongoing activity, a one-time thing, attractions/places, programs, etc. Winters can be a little hard. (But I'd love non-winter suggestions, too!)
Thanks for any suggestions.

We struggle with this too - plenty of stuff to do in warmer weather and not so much in the winter. Here are the few things I can think of - I will post back with more if they come to mind...

The Gym has kids classes.

We like to winter hike at Steep Rock in Washington and White Memorial in Litchfield.

There's a skate at your own risk lake across from Taft in Watertown.

Duckpin bowling at a few different places around the area.

I have heard good things about the children's movement center in New Milford.

We've been to these places and the kids enjoyed them very much:

In Seymour, Andie's Bounce Barn!

In Cheshire, Whippersnapper's Play Gym - Cheshire, CT
