Here is my rebuttal. Let's take "the best" Governors and look at their state stats.

TEXAS
Household income: 66,880
Poverty Rate: 16.2%

FLORIDA
Household income: 66,406
Poverty Rate: 11.1%

NORTH CAROLINA 66,985
Household income:
Poverty Rate: 13.1%

TENNESSEE
Household income: 64,042
Poverty Rate: 15%

CONNECTICUT (with the "worst" Governor in the nation)
Household income: 103,173
Poverty Rate: 9.7%

Even with all the problems in our state which I know are many I would still take CT and our "worst" Governor any day.

What is the trend line as opposed to static data which has been established over generations (I'll give you a hint, income for us is declining while the other states referenced are increasing---- uh oh).

What about unemployment? Pension funding ratios? Debt per capita? Crime in our cities?

Again nothing here.

Unemployment when Rell left office was 9.4%. Now, it is 6.2% thanks to Malloy.

No that would be a broad economic recovery... If anyone gets credit it ought to be central banks globally. Certainly wasn't BO.

Oh I see, so he gets the blame when the economy is in a bad state, but no credit when it's in a better state. Gotcha!

Same, and you can't debate with anyone on either side. I've been called a loony liberal and a right wing nut job, both on these forums, typing the same argument. It's a lose/lose for us independents when we debate with a party extremist.
