Just finished round two. I'm calling 13" in Wallingfird today. Waiting to see if I have to take the Jeep to pickup a family member who is stuck at a house.

Big list of snow total reports from CT only from todays snowstorm. Many areas with 8"+ up to 12-14"

Nice post cam. I was surprised to see you measure 8.5" of snow. NW Wilton got crushed. 14-15". I actually made it into the city. Quiet train in both directions. Roads were abysmal. No blacktop showing all the way to sono

12-13" Wallingford. No idea about how everyone around me got less than 10". I cleared 6-8" the first time out at about 11am. Did another 6-8" this evening.

Something off on Boston. They got like 22 in the first storm last week. Add that to 15 or 16 with this one ...and the storm later last week and its way over 34

What people don't understand is that it's not about how much snow there is, but the slipperiness of the roads. 3 inches is as bad as 12 when it comes to danger. 4wd doesn't help you stop. It just helps you get going so you don't get stuck! The worst drivers I see on the road are actually the local plow drivers going WAY too fast.

I'd actually prefer a road with 8 inches of totally unplowed snow where you can barely move. At least it will slow people down!
