Global Atlantic Financial is expanding in downtown Hartford. It will be adding about 100 employees and has taken additional space in the Gold Building. Great addition to the city. Jay

Downtown Hartford is adding yet another major employer as Talcott Financial Group announced they are moving their Talcott Resolution Life division into The Boat Building on Constitution Plaza. They are bringing 300 hybrid workers with them. Talcott joins several other major employers who recently announced moves downtown including Global Atlantic and Sun Life. Great news for the city. Jay

It has a long way to go. When I'm in Hartford, I have to ask myself whether this is Hartford, Detroit or East Cleveland?

East Cleveland is about 600 miles from Hartford and Detroit is about 700. Do you really get mixed up? And I thought I was bad with directions.

I assume you are making a feeble attempt to be funny but Downtown Detroit is quite nice and it’s on an attractive river so I can see why you’d be confused. Office towers, beautiful buildings, restaurants, entertainment and cultural venues are just as nice. There’s even housing being built.

I’m not as familiar with East Cleveland but many older big cities resemble each other. Parts of New York and Boston look like Connecticut cities like Hartford, New Haven, Bridgeport, Stamford, etc.. I can understand your confusion. Jay
