Did everyone enjoy all the ice missiles this morning from people too careless to clear the 1/2" of ice of their vehicles. It was madness watching huge chunks fly all over the place. Good thing we have that state law for troopers to enforce (smh).
Either way the drive home yesterday was a little fun and this morning was not much better with the icy spots on backroads. I meant to post pics yesterday but here are a few from Wallingford. I was up at 530 this morning clearing the driveway, surprisingly the snow thrower worked like a champ to clear the chunky ice and the heat cables are still doing their job amazingly well.
I almost took my coat off during my lunch outing it felt that warm. Still no rain yet either.

Wicked outside. Very heavy Rain rates here! Wind whipping rains up to 30mph. Temps in the 50s. T-Storm Warning in NJ. Nasty squall line!
Center of the storm is "WEST" of us near Binghamton right now. Just imagine if it was 300 miles east more off the coast. Blizzard.

It's a mess out there. Backyard is flooded, the broken is flooded, and the streets are flooded up here. Trees and tree branches lining or blocking the roads. Suprised the power hasn't gone out yet, will soon though. Trees are bending all ways in the back. Way wind hits and picks up limits visibility. There is mud in some parts of the streets causing a mess. Potholes new and old ones are bigger than ever with this last storm. Real mess out there be careful.

Get off the boat, man! Have you lost your mind?? j/k but it was windy as all get out. Did some sliding on my way out of the hood this morning. Tire tracks in one neighbor's yard. I love living in the relative boonies but... we were the last one to get plowed...power back on... the like.
