Been all snow since 8:15am here. Accumulating on trees and back roads now. About 1/2" out there new snow.

Current radar and temps. Virginia in the 60s. NYC reporting ice now.

Here in NW NJ, it started as rain, then freezing rain. At 9:30, it was sleet. Now its snowing. I thought it was supposed to happen in the opposite order.

It's nuts down here just north of NYC. My car was full of ice, but it was raining and road was wet. I scrape and leave and about a mile north (my job was 4 miles away) very heavy sleet falls, street (not a highway but a "main road") was a sheet of ice and my car spins out and I call out from work and turn back. Boss was pissed ("the only other person who didn't come lives 20 miles north where it's snow and ice") but safety first! Looks like it's trying to go back to rain again.....

Steaming due north from DC right now. Going to go through the full transition. Cloudy right now just outside of Trenton. Will be interesting to see where the changeover points are.
