Yeah, lets use the roads and show it never snowed.

Hows your 50+ inches you claimed? Where have u been measuring?

North Wilton has crossed over 50” (excluding deck-only snow). Hey if you can count winter as ending Feb 28 I can add snow rules!

I wont have time to put together a March 2018 summary for CT but here's some locations and notes that had a colder March than February this yr. BDR or BDL did not make the list.

BTW -- Bridgeport needs 1.4" to get into Top 10 Snowiest April's or 2.5" to be in Top 5. lol

Last time with more than 1" of snow in April was 2003.

Current temps.. Cold front coming through today will inject that fresh cold air we need for the snow tomorrow morning. It's whizzing in and out so fast I have a hard time seeing how this will produce more than 2 inches anywhere especially after sunrise.

Snow on the ground will offset the sun coming up though

I remember that storm well. It was the final slap in the face after a horrible winter. I know families who left new England because of that winter!

Looks like there might be a good shot at shattering some daily snowfall records for tomorrow. At BDR it is just 1.3" set in 1965. Even in Central Park with all those extra past years it is just 1.2" also set in 1965. This time I am posting the "low end". Seems like they feel certain of at least 2", that is pretty impressive to predict for April:

They should be measuring snow on the grass when temps are marginal instead of a board to be honest, but I know it's hard to clear it. So they use boards.

That being said, in nyc they should be measuring on the pavement. If they did that, the seasonal snowfall average would drop in half. LOL It's VERY difficult to accumulate snow in nyc between the concrete retaining heat and all the cars. It's a urban heat island. A measurement on a board in central park is not the real deal of what's going on nyc. Big difference between just outside the city in long island vs nyc(especially manhattan)
