Wouldn't you know it, going to play with the horses in NJ. Temps are quite a bit warmer Saturday than here but chance of rain there, too. Oh well. It's greening up really nicely out there! Frogs are raising quite a ruckus!

I was in the red on that map, it was quite a light (and sound) show! Lucky I didn't lose power though it "flickered" a couple of times.

What is that orange box that says "0.25"? Does the orange mean hail?

Yeah family and friends in southern Westchester were sending me pics and texts saying it was quite impressive and with surface temps in the cool 50s/60s. I was seeing so many bolts over towards NY..

I saw the lightning shut down and knew it was weakening as it was getting closer. You can see it with this loop. Orange and reds thin out and disappear.

Yup, those are hail reports. Here's the loop from 6:30-10:30pm. 3/4" hail in NW NJ.

One of my favorite Spring days today by far. Nostalgic.

Air temp 60s. Dews in the 30s. Slight NW breeze. Blue Sunny Skies. Sounds of lawn mowers and Birds.

12pm map. Temps, Winds, Dews. HOPE YOU CAN ENJOY IT GUYS.

I think this may be one of the best May's in a long time.

GFS backed off the heat it was showing next week caving to the Euro.

Mostly 60s and some 70s moving forward next 2 weeks. No frosts/freeze threats.

Only thing is I don't like the days with precip.

And looking at the 9000' Humidity column, looks like clouds around a lot next 2 weeks.

But Look at today though. 4-5%. !!
