Dig. Dig. Dig. Dig. See how the jet stream is digging south now in Eastern U.S?

Bottom 2 are subject to changes of course being 10-14 days away.

Cooler pattern next 7 days and possibly another 7 after. Below normal Heights & Fall is here!

Mid week trough wont dig as far south as this weekends but we will feel the continuation of cooler pattern.

Here was the pattern this past week to get an idea why we were hot and humid. A summer time look with the Jet Stream popping north all the way to Quebec and a 594dm height over us. That 594dm is usually in the Southeast!

As the circulation of Michael passes to our south and east, a
corridor of stronger winds is expected to increase on its rear
flank early this morning, and some gusts close to 40 mph may
occur this morning across the NYC metro area and Long Island,
and possibly some of the interior higher elevations. Winds will
then slowly diminish but remain gusty through the rest of
today, while skies become mostly sunny.

Is it me or is the radar "pulsating" in that loop? Looks like a wall of orange hit SW CT then it flickered.

We're a long way before the ground freezes. Soil temp 4" down still in upper 60s.
