Didn't think I'd be looking at WPC winter weather page again. Perfect coastal storm track for a Southern New England snowstorm but it's mid May, but we'll be seeing some more snow tweets from north of us, which is still rare for them too! Nuts

Where was this, this past winter??!! We didn't get more than a 2" snow event till March

On a positive note, this is the “greenest” Pacific Northwestiest looking Connecticut spring I’ve seen since I moved here...

The greenest grass in the world is usually associated with Ireland and coastal Washington state, and requires temperatures between 40 and 60 degrees with steady gently falling rain and mist and a touch of sunny spells

The key is not too hot, rain to fall not too heavy, and not too much of sun extreme

May 2019 weather is that perfect picturesque grass formula for greenest possible non-acidic grass. It also has to time perfectly with the flowering pollination season upon which the trees have made their timed decision that winter frost is not making a surprise return.

The timing of pollination
+ cool gentle non-downpouring rain
+ low intensity sun

= maximum green hue for Connecticut

I'm dying of jealousy at the moment. Out of curiosity, are you retiring or transferring? I definitely want to retire to Florida but I'm sort of stuck in my job here as it pays a fraction of what I earn in FL.

Last 4hr Radar and Temp Loop.

Anyone else getting tired of checking the rain gauge?

Only 2 dry 24hr days in the last 4 weeks (7am-7am)!! #WTF #NUTS

And More "0's" in the sunshine column

Look at the next batch of rain around Philly heading towards us for later. Nuts

The rain came back to the Kensington section of Berlin at 2:45 pm.

I am so f-----g tired of this Ma(y)rch weather! The trees are fully grown. The sunset is 8:01 pm. It should be sunny and 70 degrees. Saturday was a great example.

Winds are picking up. Been a while since I felt winds from a coastal storm. I think.

Its off Delaware coast right now.

Lull time here before next batch moves in within the hour.

Transferring. Found a job that pays 5k more + 5k in tax savings is what I'm looking forward to...however I hear the insurance expense will be higher so the tax savings may go out the window, not sure.
