4/100 of an inch for Hartford. Finally started to get sunny in Newington/Berlin at of-6 PM. Made for a nice 8:05 PM sunset. Did notice some haze in the air this morning, before the PM showers popped through.

Can you feel the pattern change? No big rain or constant precip events. Warmer temps, humidity rising, and sunny skies more often...

High And Dry under the ridge. Unless there's convective stuff, a ridge brings sunny hot conditions. See it? The core of it is in the southeast. 90s up to NC today. Well below normal in the West as the Jet stream dips way south. Major snows for mountains

1pmEST map. I'll take my 60s & 70s. No thanks to anywhere south of this area after April. disgusting south of Virginia

So Bradley International (BDL) still has yet to hit 80 degrees (F) in 2019. I think it was 90 degrees (F) on this day at 11 AM a couple of years ago?

Sun is back out and the satellite view looks great. Should be a ton of SUN again today!

The GOES satellite link below is great to see cloud cover. The true color one is great as it even shows night time clouds. Amazing to be able to see almost live cloud cover data!

Nice loop! I got clouds here but U expect them to burn off. Must be low level moisture?

It's been since 1999 that they haven't passed 79° by May 18th

I saw Cambium's response on the last time it was this late, I wonder what the "record" is?

Central Park almost had an 80-less April but had one day that got to exactly 80, I read Aprils with no 80 degree days happen there once or twice a decade on average. So far they have had an 80-less May, I read somewhere that as an entire month has happened only twice in their entire 150 year record. Supposedly no 80+ for the rest of the month after tomorrow, though I have a feeling today and more so tomorrow we are likely to see BDL, Central Park, or both top 80, even if that's the only day this month it does....
