It's just a little bit too cold. Otherwise, I'm liking this nice long spring with rain for the flowers.

The weather is atrocious... it's literally the same thing since November: rainy 35-50 degrees F, with snow/ice periodically mixing in.

So glad I'm moving to FL. Dont' care if it's hot, days like today are a waste of life. Every minute we're just that much closer to passing on.

Was sunny and beautiful at my new home today (there's a webcam ontop of a hotel showing the water/beach/boats, I check it almost every rainy day here just to see what next year will be like)... people were in the water, boats out having fun. Can't wait to get down there!!

Yup...its a winter type setup. Storm comes from Ohio valley and transfers its energy to a coastal storm with a cold Upper low spinning over us keeping the surface cold. Impressive for May

This is for tomorrow & Tuesday

Radar last 4hrs. Here comes more rain/clouds again.. Also, big drop in soil temp here, now 53.9°, like back in April. Air temp hasn't been out of the 40s in over 30 hrs.

See that big orange circle? That's the Cold Upper Low. Jet stream digging down with cold air aloft.

Precip moves in direction of the mid-upper levels so I drew in arrows to indicate how the flow is up there.

You can see why the precip is coming from NJ

.84" so far in Hartford. Dare I ask how much is coming from New Jersey now? I couldn't even enjoy our 8:00 sunset last night.

You're not alone. Yeah, lawn and trees are loving it but but some shrubs and veggies and humans need more sun.

Most likely over 1/2". It's gonna rain all day today and will be coming from PA and Atlantic Ocean as well since the coastal storm is there. Perfect track for a snowstorm. Perfect. Wow.

Precip totals this month so far. Nothing extreme for CT for 1st half of May but on the wetter side of spectrum.

Boston missing out on the rains this month?
