Another frosty cold morning. Didn't expect freezing temps!

Usually I get frost in October 1-2 times. We got it 4-5 times this year actually. Been using a lot more wood this year for sure.

And...………..it's official.. 1st time hitting the freezing mark

Well above normal next 7 days but not beach weather. Nice Early October weather. Still chilly at night

So November weather in October and September weather in November. Fun

Double digit Celsius is very warm this time of year for 5000'. 10 days down the drain. Enjoy it.

Rainfall from last night. We really need volunteers to reports their precip from Southern Westchester. Is anyone here from there that wants to participate? Maybe I should post in their forum. We need to fill in that gap. It's free but it requires honesty and devotion and the right rain gauge.

Don't have the time or the facilities (live in an apt complex), sorry, otherwise I'd step up......

Does this warm pattern have any effect on our winter weather long term? Very odd but fun wearing shorts and golfing in early November.
I know the cycle this year was supposed to be colder and snowier than normal. I still get nervous when these big storms eventually hit us. I have been known to jump on a plane and go to Florida when a bad snow storm is coming.
