Would be nice to get some rain before the 2 day heat wave.

Come on baby

Yesterdays rain reports still coming in but this should give you an idea who got lucky and who was unlucky. Perfect before the 2 day heat wave. Although this will mean more humidity and bugs.

Here's the rainfall totals for the month so far.

Most of CT with 1-2 inches but wow at some other locations.. I'm in the yellow

Orange = 4"+.
Yellow = 2-4".

Still 11 days left!

Believe it or not...Bridgeport is having the 8th driest Spring so far with 11 days left. WHAT? I thought it was wet. 7.07" there.

More rain is coming next 11 days though so this wont hold.

Incredible heat

Anyone miss those dewpoints from just 3 weeks ago?
Bone Dry to Oppressive Humidity.

Dews in the 70s today in Hartford and north of Albany. Well above normal for this time of year

Feels like this outside right now. Temp of 90 in Danbury with a dew of 68 =

Maxed out at 86 today on my weather station. Like a typical summer day. Knew this heat wave hype was overblown. Tough to get to 90 in May and mid to high 90s are even tougher.

Strangest thing happened up here in the Boston 'burbs. It hit 85 around 3 pm, then the wind must've shifted, and it's back down into the low 70s now!

No, not in the slightest. After one of the most brutal and longest winters on record, the heat at the Yankee game today felt great. Bring on more.

Impressive heat

9:30pm temps. Still 80° in spots.

Last time Hartford (BDL) was 80° at 9pm was August 26, 2021

Last time Albany was 82° at 9pm was July 27, 2020

Meanwhile, check out Nantucket!

Surprising enough, didn't need the A/C yesterday, I guess having the house striped and wrapped when doing the siding plus all new windows helped keep the cool air in, but alas, the heat has caught up and will likely run the A/C today
