BTW.. It was 71° just after midnight but the rest of the day 60s. So it doesn't count as 60s max today.

70s in Summer but Yeah, pretty much stable year round with the occasional 80s and 90s in summer and some 30s for lows in winter

Lets see if we can break some records tonight. The numbers to beat

BDL: 45°

This is ridiculous
54° in CT
61° in Siberia
63° in International Falls

Seems Summer has fallen victim to cancel culture. I’m waiting to see sleet or snow start mixing in with this rain.

Cold June morning out there. I circled the main stations that are near record lows... There's probably many more but records aren't the best outside the main Climo stations

Here are the actual record lows for todays date

Some spots even in the 20s! #BoneDry

Lets come back to this map soon when it's a soup bowl outside.

Cooler and drier in Connecticut than Siberia

Central Park missed it's record low for the date (52 in 1920) by two degrees but LaGuardia tied their record low of 56 set in 1958 (which was also Father's Day, more on that later). BDR's low of 53 also missed the record for the date by 2 (51 set in 1986).

But according to another forum I'm in, it was still a historic Father's Day weather-wise and quite a gift to us fathers. For Central Park, they noted:

1) The 54 degrees tied 1958 (see above) for lowest temperature on Father's Day (remember the date is different each year).

2) First Father's Day since 2012 to not reach 80 degrees (high was just 73, as it was in 2012)

3) 25% humidity was lowest humidity for ANY date in June since June 30, 2007 (when it was also 25%)

Look at all the locations across the United States that were approaching or set a new record low temperature yesterday morning and this morning. Looks like some spots in CT

(Unofficial) Record-breaking temperatures across the Globe
