Not me. I'm using fans for now. When does the rain come? I really don't feel like watering the garden and it's so much easier when the rain does it.

Yup.. window fans arent doing it. Drawing in humidity into the house. Time for AC. Especially at night I need the chill! Daytime I wont run it

Ditto. Put the bedroom fan in a couple hours ago and it feels great

Yep, me too. But still on "Eco Mode" (shuts off completely when room is below the temp set on the thermostat instead of just the compressor.....but soon enough that won't be enough).

Amazingly, Caribou, ME, often the "cold spot" of the Northeast, was 90 degrees today, 2nd earliest 90+ in their history (records go back to 1939).....earliest was on 5/9/1979, but it shattered today's daily record by 12 degrees!

(Now before you think this is a "you know what" post, sometimes records for a date are unusually high or low due to the luck of the calendar and many other locations in northern New England and upstate NY with longer records that were in the mid-upper 80s today didn't break a daily record because they were hotter on this date in......1879! (For example, on that date Concord, NH was 93 (89 today) and Rochester, NY was 89 (83 today))

Speaking of which, BDL got to 84 today (record is 87 set in 1947). But the power of the still cold Sound this time of year....BDR only got up to 64!

Its official...AC season officially begins. Heat season ended 5 days ago. Fan in window isnt doing anything. Mid 70s inside? No thanks to sleep in.

FYI.. out of the 13 days this month only 3 had max temps in the 60s. Rest were 70s or 50s.

I wonder if these things use less energy than an A/C and gets the job done. In this age of high energy cost, it could be worth it for someone like you who needs the chill to sleep. Heck, I think everyone sweats in their sleep during humid/warm nights unless using an A/C or one of these.

Haha, interesting. So its just a fan with a duct? It wont get the air below room temp but I get the concept.

Now if there was a way to inject cold air into the bed, that would be more interesting. lol but then you need to drain out the condensation

Mid 80s on Saturday? No surprise. Gazillion chilly below normal days in April and then Summer in May.

Keep your composure Cambium...This is the norm now. NOSPRING
