Snow to snow obviously... if choosing then likely rain to snow for its lasting landscape. How does snow timing now affect what you were saying earlier about snow in November means less snow in the colder months?

Euro12z is colder than previous run. GFS is warmer. That's not something you see often. GFS warmer? lol

Here is the snow total from the latest Euro model

Wasn't it while living in Hartford that Mark Twain made his comment about New England weather changing every 5 minutes?

I always thought of New England as a region full of "weather nuts" anyways.....

Compared
to 24 hours ago, models are noticeably slower with the onset of
precipitation on Sunday, which has significant implications for the
precipitation type forecast. Other than the possibility of a brief
period of snow right as precipitation begins, the later start time
will result in warmer temperatures, allowing the vast majority of
the precipitation to fall as rain.

Cold high pressure retracts back northward with the local
environment being cold and dry. This will set the stage for initial
precip to be snow everywhere
as wet bulb cooling allows for
subfreezing temperatures and for some light accumulations of snow
(perhaps near 1 inch or less for coast), relatively more for the
interior (perhaps near 2 to 3 inches). Flow is expected to become SE
Sunday allowing for transition to rain across the coast in the
afternoon while the interior stays mostly snow. Interior stays snow,
rain/snow mix for most inland locations Sunday night while rest of
the region is rain.
Different forecaster and maybe they are weighing in more on the Euro now which is colder.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING
-From the Euro12z Model Family

YUGE CHANGE! Colder all around!

Basically the storm from the Ohio valley transfers to the coast south of us which keeps thing colder and the coastal storm stays far enough off shore.

Don't discount the ZR threat, this one could be pretty bad with respect to that. Concerned for post-Thanksgiving travel
