Reinforcing cold front coming tomorrow evening so rain again and then when cold air comes in chance of seeing snow Monday struggling past 30s. Wow

Finally some classic cold shots in fall!

Coldest Halloween day since 1992. Actually, 2nd coldest Halloween on record for BDR

Future radar loop per HiRes NAM model. See the rain coming in today then the cold air dives south and you see Lake effect snows, terrain snows. Will CT get some streamers? We'll see

Also note those dashed blue lines. That's the atmosphere thickness. Without getting too technical it means COLD air pushing over us

Don't worry... warm up coming. Cold is not going to last long.

It was a cold Halloween yesterday!

Hartford had 1" of snow on the ground at 12z yesterday which is the most snow on Halloween day & was the coldest low temp for the date hitting 21°!

Bridgeport had its 2nd coldest max not passing 47°, 4th coldest low hitting 31°

Spoiler
It was a cold Halloween 2020. Boston only 1 year since 1872 was colder (1925). The 31° low was 4th coldest.

Look at NYC... Wow! 7th coldest max temp for Halloween not passing 46°F and 5th coldest low hitting 32°. Look at the years in the Top 10. 8 of them were before 1926... except #2020 & #1992. It's been a while since we had such a cold Halloween

Nice digging trough! See the Orange lines how they are bent south to put it simply? That's the Jet stream pushing south and all that Canadian cold air is coming down with it. #WinterPattern

Rain/Front pushing into Northeast. I'm sure you see the Lake effect snows too. You guys ready?
