I didn't remember Sandy being the same day, but my FB memories showed a bad storm that hit on this day in 2017. I was staying in Hebron, lots of power outages and downed trees there.

I remember the rain from that 2017 event. The motel I was staying at in Berlin lost power around 11:40 that night and was still out after sunrise.

I knew both Sandy and Snowtober were the same day but that's only because it's my birthday

Sounds like Maine will have a blustery Halloween. I haven't heard much of anything about this storm for greater Hartford, however.

Someone said monsoon and local FB pages are all over indoor Halloween, so I'm not sure what's up!

Cam, thanks for that blast from the past on the old posts! I don't know how you always manage to find the old ones

GFS (And Euro to an extent) calling for a frigid mid-month. Cam, do you think this will happen?
