We are still wedged between the 2 Vortexs. One over the Atlantic. One over the MidWest. See the spinning counter clockwise?

A Front dragging across now with light scattered showers.

No wind here. You don't understand how stuffy my house gets with new windows, insulation and walls. Great for winter but even just 70s makes the house stuffy after 7pm especially when no breeze outside.

Looks like an AC night for me. I had the fire on this morning. Big mistake

Almost 7pm and still in the 60s & 70s. Warm Muggy April evening. Dews in the 50s. Not much breeze here either. Rain tomorrow.

Here it comes. A rainy Sunday.

You have this morning to do things. Enjoy

Looks like the back edge is close but after this line it will be scattered and continued showery conditions

Talk about getting jipped. Precip started 3hrs ago but less than 0.02" to show here.

Focus on the CT border. Note the precip just evaporating.

Also note the icons, mostly light rain. (no darker green icons)

Not one drop of rain! Should have gotten the hose out and watered the garden. The Boston tv news said it's a drought.

I just started looking at the Hydretain product in preperation for this. It helps retain moisture so less water is needed. Gonna use it for lawn and plants.

Did you see the massive Volcano eruptions happening in the Caribbean? The ash plume went high enough into the atmosphere to have an affect on weather and climate (Like Pinatubo did). We wont know where and if it did until months down the road but Satellite showing the ash in the atmosphere is now travelling in the Jet stream northeastbound from the Caribbean. Less sunlight might be coming to a Summer/Fall/Winter for us. Maybe. Will help keep temps cooler.

Rain totals past 24hrs. Reports still coming in but looks like majority of Southern New England stayed under 1/2". Darker blue plots = 1"+
