Dont hit the worry button yet...I dont see a ton of moisture with the system.. Still can change but its not looking like the last one at all..

Last update out minutes ago still shows half foot for northern CT on Wednesday. So that means a laughing flurry for major airports.. I think the rains would create delays more then anything..

No Blizzards or snows after Thanksgiving Anywhere on map on this run until after the weekend .

The only way this could be worse is if the storm strengthens sooner (near NJ)

Still 7 days away so I'll have an update tomorrow.

Like I said...dont be shocked to see flakes tomorrow. in fact models continue to show more moisture lingering...
Has a storm develop off the coast of Maine .. Gives most of CT over 1/4" liquid after the front passes...

Im thinking an inch could accumulate now north of Merrit after sundown. Let us know if you see anything.

All rain so far in Glastonbury. I am more worried with next Wednesday..hey at least the leaves are off the trees...so we won't have the fiasco we had on 10/29

Whoops I reread your post you meant tomorrow night

yeah sorry... tomorrow afternoon the front should pass then new moisture will redevelop for the evening and nightime... nothing to worry about... Temps will stay in mid 30s so ice on roads wont be a problem but there could be a coating of snow here and there.

Edit: Corrrection... upper 20s inland tomorrow night so ice could form on roadways making them slick

Default Thanksgiving Storm Update

November 23, 2011 Storm Update:

Does this look familiar?

This is from the Euro model last night...New update comes out in 2 hours.
The other model does NOT have snow.. This would be half foot easily for places north of I-84.

Gotta watch this one close...
Good news is right after it passes it warms back up...The trend is your friend.

See the storm over land then off the coast?? To me this is a rain to snow event.

Good news that the update shows WARM but the center of storm being South of us..

I always need to see consistancy and I am not yet with regards to temps...A storm chance is very likely however. That I am confident about. Track and temps not yet.

Gosh! Looking at this thread is making me put some serious thought into turning my 3 weeks (still have like 9 days left) Caribbean vacation into a 4 week one. Its so nice down here with warm days and a nice cool breeze, the Sun shining all the time with showers being isolated and literally based on single clusters of clouds. Heck, yesterday it poured like 7 times, all with the Sun shining through and through.

I'm telling you guys, if there is one thing I truly hate about Connecticut, its the weather, especially the colder weather. I need to move! lol
