Hi guys...

Can I use the above in the same sentence ?
I have a LN46B640 that I purchased from Best Buy.

Does anyone have experience to connect this to the internet using your home network ?
Wired or wireless ... anything is fine. Please let me know.... I do see a Setup on the TV where I can put in a IP address, what does that connect to ?

Thanks !!

I have an Internet-connected Sony TV. It's worth the effort to get it connected.

Go to this link at Samsung.

Click "How-to-Guides."

Click "3380. Using The Ethernet Port On Your TV: A Step-by-step guide on how to connect your to your home network via the Ethernet port"

That should give you what you need to get yours connected.

Great link. Thanks. But I don't think this lets you browse the internet though.
It can access the files/pics on your PC but not browse the internet.

Right. AFAIK, no Internet-enabled TVs do that yet. What they connect to is dependent on which content providers their manufacturers have a partnership with.

Google TV looks like it will be the first add-on to a TV that allows open-ended connection to online sites.
