I watched the full trial on tv and so did others, so there are people who were interested.. he was a well known sportsman and she a lovely model, he took her life in dubious circumstances and yes it made big big news worldwide. so I for one cared, and also had sympathy for Reevas parents who are devasted ..

That loser makes me sick. That poor girl was stunning and had a whole life ahead of her. His punishment is a joke.

The following are some reasons why the judge might find him guilty,

1) Five neighbours told the trial they heard a woman screaming before what they believed were shots fired, suggesting Pistorius knew who he was shooting.

2) Another neighbour heard a man and woman arguing for an hour before there was the sound of four loud bangs.

3) Steenkamp still had food in her stomach meaning, the state pathologist said, she ate within two hours of her death at 3am. Pistorius said they went to bed at 10pm, five hours before she died.

4) Steenkamp described in WhatsApp messages how she was "scared" of Pistorius and his temper; his ex-girlfriend Samantha Taylor testified that he had a bad temper and had fired his gun in anger once before.

Would it have any less of a tragedy if she had been homely? I often hear people say things like "such a shame so and so died, she was such a beautiful girl". Only unattractive people should die?

Yeah, except OJ is rotting away in a Nevada prison right now. Not for his original crime, but there he is.
