If Hobby Lobby doesn't want to pay for Plan B, then I guess they support unplanned pregnancy.
Strawman - and a pitiful one, at that.
I bet Hobby Lobby would rather that people use of birth-control methods (some of which their insurance plan pays for) that prevent a new life from being created, rather than end an existing life.
Hey, do you know if penile implants & Viagara are covered under this?

Apples-to-oranges. Unlike abortifacients, neither Viagra nor penile implants were designed to end life, which is the core issue around which this debate revolves.

But Plan B and ... whatever the other one is .... are not abortifacients. Hobby Lobby claims that they believe them to be, but didn't have a problem covering them for their employees pre-ACA. Those pills delay ovulation, but do not affect an already implanted blastocyst.
And, just in case you have forgotten, the definition of abortion is ending a pregnancy, whether induced or spontaneous (miscarriage). No implantation, no pregnancy, no abortion. RU-486 is different, and no one is compelled to cover it.

Ok, here is another one. Sterilization is also included under the ACA. A staunch Catholic employer would object to that also. A Tubal Ligation is surgery, done in a hospital, and not CHEAP. So female employee with 5 kids cannot have her tubes tied? She cannot say NO MORE kids? Every baby has the right to be CONCEIVED? Sterilization is "abortion" too? Sorry, hubby, my BOSS says we should practice ABSTINENCE in our marriage because ALL contraception is against HIS religion. Well, maybe BOSS should pay CHILD SUPPORT too?
You don't thinkthis won't become an issue also? Again, sterilization for a woman requires hospitalization. That could cost thousands of dollars in a hospital. So now religious employers will be able to opt out of that also for female employees. Male employees (vasectomies) too?

She could do what I did when my job didn't offer the benefits I wanted.......I got one that did.
TELL your religion so we can choose not to work for you, OR patronize your business. Are you prepared not only to lose employees, but CUSTOMERS as well if you are a "religious" company? DECLARE yourself to the WORLD. Something tells me if you are in PROFITS, you won't do that.
Doesn't seem to be hurting Hobby Lobby or Chick Fil A....both companies who have had their religious beliefs openly attacked.
That is very true. The majority of employer insurance includes a premium to be paid for by the employee. So in essence, that portion of the employee's OWN MONEY is paying for the contraceptive coverage. Can an employee do whatever they want with their wages? Apparently, not. Are "Morality Clauses" going to required for private for profit employees also? You can get FIRED if you employer considers you private behavior goes against THEIR religion, like using contraceptives? If you laugh, don't. There was a bill in Arizona a few years ago which would allow a private employer to fire an employee for using contraceptives (male too or only females???) if birth control was against the the employers religion.
Welcome back to the good old days (which I fully remember) when employers would not hire females of childbearing age.
Are Hobby Lobby employees being forced to use their wages to this insurance? If not then they can do whatever they want with their wages including going out and buying the birth control themselves if its not available.
