CNN doing their best to portray the police as acting out of control and using excessive force against innocent protestors in the hopes that it riles up other people watching and allows them to keep their ratings put of the gutter for just a few days longer.

Ummm, I've not heard that and I've been watching since this jumped off. I have heard complaints of "where are they and why aren't they doing anything" and "People complained that LEO's are too militaristic and now they're going the opposite way".
I don't know what the Mayor was thinking (or if) but letting this get this far was stupid to say the least.

This! Superwoman isn't acting much like a superhero. She should be out there helping instead of sitting on her behind ranting about Black people.

The mayor gave her approval. Hopefully she will have to answer for her actions. Finally the governor stepped in.

Sounds like this is exactly what you are trying to say.

There isn't any justification of cutting fire hoses, looting business, putting others in danger, tearing up a city, etc. Teenagers don't do this and that is just a generalization to put some sort of moral equivalence to what they are doing.

Classic political response.. too little.. then too late.. and all FUBAR...

Anti police haters always drcry why we need up armored vehicles... just watch fools... you want to respond and get your radio car torched and trashed and not be able to protect yourself

Now ..let's see how it changes when the national guard gets fixed posts and BPD gets to start arresting people ... of course like Los Angeles many will get arrested and then let go by sympathetic judges
