That fact that she lied matters. If she admitted to white from the beginning no problem except that why would someone lie about their race? I could see people that passed in Jim Crow South but other than that it is screwed up.

If the answer is no, or that she would not have had the same chances to thrive in the naacp as if she were black...well, that's almost racist. But we knew that already, didn't we?
The question is Why? Why would she want to commit this fraud? She also lied about a hate crime according to police. Apparently she likes to lie. Anyway, I'll contribute some media:
