You can't know what the victims family feels you can only wonder, just like how the cops family feels.

They just changed the policy on that a week ago. Following this incident, they're no longer allowed to patrol off campus streets. They're only allowed to murder people on campus.

I saw the video. I think the officer overreacted when the guy tried to take off, but it was questionable, so you have to side with the officer on this one.

did you notice that the vehicle did not move until the victim was shot? That's why he was arrested. The cop claimed the car was moving and he was afraid he would be sucked under it which is clearly NOT true.

Also, why not let him go and get a warrant for his arrest? You are aware that the violation was for a "missing front license plate" right?

There is more then ONE issue here to deal with.

Why does a College have to have their own Police dept and not just a security detail on campus.

After all they are not in line with all of the resources that a normal City Police dept would have at their disposal.

Problem is the Police in general make a Federal case if your missing a license plate (fell off or maybe stolen or a License plate bulb out from being hit in the rear in a parking lot etc unknown to the driver).

I once was being written up by a Sheriff for going 37 in a 35 zone and license plate bulb not working while I discovered that the patrol car License Plate bulb was also out (he left that latter part OFF the ticket). As for my bulb situation, I had just checked everything on my car 1/2 hr earlier before leaving home and everything worked....s o things can happen.

There are so many things that happen in our life time that are a result of HUMAN NATURE and should be overlooked.

Just look at how many people are killed because of a very small infraction and the Police have to just get their jollys and a pat on the back for increasing the Cities Bank account as REVENUERS.
