Spraying doesn't completely get rid of all the grime and nastiness that builds up on your scalp, your private areas, etc.
Maybe the bacteria in the spray take care of the area grunge. Certain bacteria are equipped to eat certain things better than others. I'm skeptical, but I suppose it's possible that they first colonize and reduce the number of "bad" bacteria that are causing odor and gunk. Then they eat up any incidental gunk.
I would think there are more pressing & serious human problems that he could be devoting his time to solving. Sort of a waste of his abilities IMO. Won't be giving up my showers any time soon.
I've heard this argument for a while. From what I gather, it's not anti-water. It's anti-antibacterial. Apparently antibacterial soaps kill bacteria that is actually good for you. Take it for what it's worth. I'll gladly use soap.
I read recently that fashion mavens are advising people to put their jeans into a plastic bag and then into the freezer to kill bacteria rather than washing them — to preserve the sizing and "lived in" look.
