No, the "cult members" are the deniers of global warming. They're the ones disagreeing with the vast majority of environmental experts, the EPA and even other types of scientists.

We can go round and round with this debate with the usual outcome of agreeing to disagree.
Difference being what are the consequences of you being wrong and man just continues on status quo with respect to our climate.
Or me being wrong and we discover we've spent a lot of money to clean up our atmosphere/climate.
If they were actually concern over global warming, then they'd be looking at a solution that we already have, nuclear energy. It has almost zero emissions. But they aren't looking at it. AGW is nothing but a scam for more government money.
I'm not a climatologist and have done no research into the field so i am left to believe what those scientists in the field tell us eg;= http://climate.nasa.gov/scientific-consensus/
IMO people who bring this level of study to the issue are more plausible/believable than those few who use only opinion and rogue agendas to refute the findings of the vast majority of the scientific community.
I do not believe "experts" whose salary or research is dependent on the same governments that want a particular outcome for political reasons.
Umm... I hate to be the bearer of common sense here, but they are using a PHYSICIST to pooh pooh on Climate science. That'd be akin to relying on a Chemist to deny the Theory of Evolution, or a Biologist to crap all over the Theory of Relativity.

I can't believe people are still denying AGW. Global temperatures keep rising along with CO2 levels. What to do about it (assuming we can) is a whole different discussion. But facts are facts.
Plants breathe CO2 and emit O2. Humans and animals breath oxygen. How is that a bad thing????
