Personal experience is not scientific evidence. There are millions of cat owners whose furkids have had no problems with vaccines.
If you have an indoor cat, at least vaccinate against rabies. It is possible - even though the risk is low - for an indoor cat to come into contact with a rabid bat that gets into the house.
children under 10 are not routinely vaccined for meningitis. Children under 2, rarer still.
The Hib vaccine, given to infants at 2, 4, and sometimes 6 months (depends on brand), plus again at 1 year protects against Hib meningitis, the most common form of meningitis in infants. https://kidshealth.org/en/parents/hib-vaccine.html

There’s also no vaccine or treatment for viral meningitis.
The ambulance knew that they were not equipped with the proper equipment. This boy could have been saved if they were. Why does nobody seem to care about that? Because it’s more fun to demonize parents who don’t vaccinate or who use alternative medicine, in this case, nutrition and herbal remedies.
You do not know if Ezekiel could have been saved if the ambulance had a child oxygen mask. Last time around, I read that they did retrofit an adult mask for him.

Did you know that they’ve also consistently denied the repeated assertion by the media that they fed him garlic, horseradish, onion smoothies? Do you always head straight to the doctor when your kid is sick? Even after he seems to be getting better? Not everyone does. In fact, a lot of people don’t.
It’s tragic that the child lost his life and I’d imagine that no one is more upset then his parents who lost him. Yet they went through a trial, an appeal, and another trial only to be found, “not guilty”. They also have and continue to go through a trial by media and are demonized by people. All because they couldn’t predict that his health was going to take a turn for the worst and that he would stop breathing.
Two weeks illness where the child is so stiff he can't be folded into a car seat, needing to be fed with an eyedropper is not a "wait it out" situation. Also, he did have a fever, at least at first. And absence of fever does not mean absence of illness. See previous links.

Verdict was, “not guilty”. Judge ruled that the boy had viral meningitis and died from lack of oxygen. The hib vaccine would not have prevented this. If the ambulance would have had the proper equipment, perhaps he would still be alive. They could not retrofit the mask, if they tried it did not work. This was the Judge’s ruling.
The judge is being accused of racism. It seems like a pretty desperate move.
