i feel that is getting a little too personal...and it's weird.
I agree. And I'm sure most guys here who are ok with what this guy in OZ did, wouldn't think it was ok if it happened to their gf/wife/mother. If they reply and say they are still ok with it, then they are lying.
Well ... I would guess that she shared the info with someone, it was over heard, what ever. Maybe with another female colleague she said something like "my cramps are really bad" or whatever. In any case, she has now made 'personal' information 'public'. If the 'public' uses that information to their own benefit, I can't blame them.
She should have x'ed out every day on her calendar, and when the guys asked her what it was, tell them she was tracking their stupid cycle.
Maybe she should have gotten a blacked out calendar for the guy doing the tracking. This represents him not working there anymore after he's fired for sexual harassment.
It IS quite creepy and stalkerish if it was a real thing and not a one-off joke.
To me, with them being "really good friends", I think its funny, and I could understand doing it depending on the job. There may be SO MANY reasons or situations where you would try to avoid talking to that person for a few days. Once he emails it to colleagues, it becomes a big office joke. I think for that part its insulting and I think he is wrong for it.
If it was just a coworker that you were not comfortable talking about it with her, FIRST, then you would be wrong for it.
Its a natural thing that happens, no need to be silly or rude. It could matter when giving out tasks, promotions, or raises, but probably not when it comes to flippin burgers.
I didn't realize until that moment how obvious my mood swings were. After that, I worked hard to control my emotions and behavior. I never told him that I overheard that.
That's called personal responsibility, milady. I'm sure they appreciated it.
I didn't see anything in the article indicating that she got "all huffy" or blamed anyone for anything. In fact, she admitted that she gets moody when it's that time of the month.
Most women I know are aware of the moodiness that comes with your period, some will even warn you to walk lightly, lol.
Me either. There are several post implying she was just horrible and byotchy. I read nothing in the article to indicate that or that she was upset in the least.
I did see an ad for a menstrual cycle app following the article. Maybe she should share that with her co-workers.
That's the gift of womens lib and womens equal rights to work in the office with men and be equal with them. They are forced to mingle to the point of being privy to personal private and intimate details. Thank you Gloria
