I had a prospective tenant who wanted to find a rental with his 2 PIT BULLS...."service dogs" aka companion dogs
I told him he would have to find someone else. I'm tired of people thinking they can call ANYTHING a "service dog" just so they can take it where ever they want. You can pay $50 online and get a paper to say anything you want.
REAL service animals do not poop just anywhere, they don't attack another person, they don't misbehave. They have been TRAINED not to. I have full respect for those and their owners. Others I do not.
I love animals and have my own, but enough is enough already.
How about a Stuffed Animal duck? It's low-maintenance, doesn't eat or need diapers, and is soft and cuddly. Great as a pillow on overnight flights, doubles as a back support cushion and doesn't mind getting shoved into the overhead compartment. Machine washable.
Made in China.
For some people, and i'm not saying all.. But some of them.. That won't work because they don't get the attention with a stuffed duck that they do with a real duck.
i don't have a problem with it. it seems a little silly, but really i don't see the big deal. i'd rather sit next to this duck and hear a little quack now and then than a screaming kid or in front of them instead of having some bratty kid kicking my seat the whole flight.
Photographers with Sony cameras love ducks. In fact, there is a Sony Duck Club on a photo discussion forum. Look at this handsome fellow and say that you wouldn't want him seated next to you on an airplane. Click on the thumbnail.
