Darwin is not enough. She has 2 kids. "The couple have a three-year-old child together, and another on the way. "

She had her 1st at 16 and now at 19 another kid. These 2 have no business procreating.

The saddest part is that these morons have a kid.
I read a different article about this incident earlier. The article I read said they heard it worked but didn't try it! Not sure who is correct because it seems to be different in each story.

I'm from the local area it happened... here is a story on the local TV station. It stated that she told deputies the guy showed her a book that had stopped a bullet, so the woman went ahead and did the stunt based on what he showed her. Now it doesnt say if he actually tried it, or what....

Also, according to the complaint, Perez told a Norman County Sheriff’s Office deputy that Ruiz wanted to make a video of her shooting a book and Ruiz believed that the book would stop the bullet.

She said the incident was recorded and she gave the deputy two cameras. Those videos are considered evidence and won’t be released until the conclusion of the case.

Perez said Ruiz set up one camera on the back of a vehicle and the other on a ladder nearby. She said she agreed to do the video and to shoot the gun after Ruiz showed her a different book that he had shot that prevented the bullet from going all the way through.

She told authorities that she shot at Ruiz from about a foot away while Ruiz held a book to his chest.

I really think they should IQ test this girl. If I was her lawyer, I think that is what I would do. Her twitter comments show she knew it was dangerous. But it sounds like she really might have some cognitive impairments that could mitigate her going along with this idiotic stunt.

Never noted the distance they shot the test round into the book.

Never noted that they used the exact same size book for the final dumb stunt.

Never noted the round used (different rounds have different muzzle velocities...e.g., Magsafe defender round has a 2040
muzzle velocity ft/sec; Magnum research JSP only has a muzzle velocity of 1270).

Not sure if I were on a jury could I find this woman guilty if she had irrefutable proof he asked her to do the shot. He was too stupid and she is too stupid to function normally. What needs to be done cannot be done and that would be to take her kids away, and sterilize her so she can no longer produce offspring.

This is just proof of what is called GENE POOL CLEANSING. And do we want anymore from this gene pool?

He left 2 kids behind. He already passed on his genes.

Armed with their father's awesome genes, the kids will catch flying bullets and become YouTube sensations.

This is why sometimes Darwin is flawed. The stupidest people are also the ones to breed the earliest and most voraciously. The dumb-as-a-rock girl got her first kid when she was 16.
