$24 Million a year in living expenses is a pretty nice lifestyle. I don't understand why actors, and athletes put so much trust in their managers. It seems a lot of them get swindled.
Being an A-list actor, I would think he should easily be able to afford that kind of lifestyle, so there is probably is some fraud going on with those that have access to his money imo.
24 mil a year in expenses would require income of around 40mil or more annually.
I saw his yacht once in palm beach, it's the size of a small cruise ship so I don't doubt the expense estimates for his lifestyle. Consider the loan payment, staffing costs, dock fees, insurance and maintenance on a boat that costs over 100million.
I pulled up the 2015 top earners list (you can check the other years on your own) and Depp didn't crack the top 10 so made <32mil.
Just some available facts to help us view the claims being made, certainly it's possible that there is some truth on both sides of that discussion.
Screw Johnny Depp. Who knows if he was swindled but it sounds like he brought most all of this on himself. Regardless it's hard to respect a guy who behaves like this.
Well I sincerely doubt that 650 million was mis-manged without his knowledge. People never look at the big picture.
The ambition it takes to become a celebrity, and the tenacious attitude one must acquire or possess, shows right there what kind of an indivudual Depp is. I think one thing most celebs have in common is their controlling behavior. You can't be trusting and oblivious in Hollywood. Just from his profession you can extrapolate that he runs the show. He probably was aware of every transaction. I think they gouged him, good,but not for 650 mill.
