I dunno. If that drunken Hoda Kotb takes his place, Oh, My, what a disgrace she is!
I don't watch NBC in the mornings, so it's no skin off my back. I first heard the story on ABC morning news, then googled it to make sure it was true, lol.
I don't care for him but this is getting ridiculous! It seems guilty until proved innocent. Is all it takes to fire someone now an accusation?
You don't know that to be true. One thing definitely worse than a bevy of accusers is the people who think they know the behind-the-scenes machinations. You don't, so wait before you spew, please. Unless you sat in on the executive meetings, you don't have a clue.

This one seems different. In all other cases the allegations surfaced and then the firing happened. From all I can tell he was fired with whatever was happening behind the scenes. Meaning whomever is accusing didn't go public and his employer handled it internally like what happens in most cases where the offender is not famous. Seems a bit more legit.

It does 'SEEM' to come off that way. While I personally think allegations of this nature deserve genuine investigation, this jumping to fire is a knee jerk damage control reaction. NBC is losing a professional journalist.i don't think for a second they thought this thru. This has got to be a devastating blow to Matt. I hope in time the truth will clear him.

Yes, but...
Many of them likely DID go behind the scenes and report the incidents. We know they did with Charlie Rose. After all, his manager said, "That's just Charlie being Charlie." And pretty much everyone seemed to know about Weinstein and Spacey.
So there's all that. Usually, going to one's superior or HR doesn't produce results. It gets swept under the carpet. I know. Been there, done that.
