I never had an account. Sounds like I didn't miss much.
Given that you've posted over 67,000 times on here, you might enjoy Facebook, too. A lot of it depends on how much you'd care to interact with people from your past, though.
Signed off last night because I was depressed. May never return. Ads still follow me around.
That's just cookies. They are on EVERY SITE.
What the problem was, was data mining. Where they cross check your full info and learn where you bank, all the sites you visit and when, what groups you participate in, where you work, what bills you pay online, where your retirement account is, what email accounts you have, etc.

I have a FB account ONLY to participate in some groups, like cordcutting, Roku, our community group. I don't put anything on my FB page. And I only recently set up a FB account.
Compared to the over-simplified and juvenile appeal of msn.com, Facebook is a bush-leaguer; there are plenty of groups for people from differing viewpoints, so the slant isn't so heavily reinforced.
Not deleting it. I have too much family and friends living far away, and it is our best method to stay in touch and share pictures, especially of our growing kids and such.
Well if its possible I think email is a better way. (More private)
I'm keeping mine. The community Buy and Sell pages have some good drama, and I also get to report gun sales on a pretty regular basis.
Really you report people. That is sad.

Ha, ha...then your friends and family must be sane, lol. I have one in my family who I would swear is on a watch list
I like FB for my groups. It is a great way to buy/sell items and also learn about what interests you. I don't really care about the people I know on there because I can catch up with them IRL So I'm keeping my account.
