Temporary insanity or reasonable action to protect herself and her home? I'm guessing the latter.

I should probably stop posting. I don't like this guy, from what I've seen online.

Oops, I meant “disclaimer,” not “disclosure” - you all got my point, though.

This is not the only thing this man has done - it's not like he's gone from a very loving supportive guy to one incident of injuring the cat.

It will be interesting to see where this one goes in court.
If you're thinking they're going to cut her some slack because he beat the cat... I think you're going to be disappointed. You can't kill someone for abusing a cat.

I doubt she gave herself that black eye.

People are actually sympathizing with the murder of an ALLEGED cat beater?

Good grief, pet lovers really have gotten out of hand! (btw, I have a cat).

No, people who are all-too-familiar with domestic violence are thinking that the cat was probably not the first victim and that this was probably not the first incident.

What kind of person tries to kill a small helpless animal in front of the person who loves it? If you need hints, let us know.

My use of the the term 'anthropomorphize' was specific to the post I was replying to.

Although, in a general sense, many do go that direction with their pets..not that there is anything wrong with it--except when you think that a threat to a cat's life is justifiable homicide.
Perhaps it should.

There is an undeniably strong link between animal abusers going on to abuse, torture, and murder humans. This truth has been public knowledge for a very long time, which I guess is news to you.

Here are the extensive search results for that topic. I'm thankful that so called "man" can't hurt anymore creatures ever again.

Exactly. If he was beating the cat he was most likely beating the wife as well.
