I'm a real dinosaur. I had a cell for 6 months years ago and hated it. It rang and rang when I was at lunch with friends, at the grocery store, doing something else. a work or personal call must be answered immediately, right? nope. people got angry that I wasn't tethered to them via the phone. How dare one not drop everything and respond?

Haven't had a cell in 4 years. sometimes I would like to have one....once or twice every couple of years.

It's bull****, folks.

Click on the links to the contest and nothing happens. Click on Vitaminwater for more information and you get a 404 error. The video link doesn't say squat about entering the contest, just has 22 seconds of people with cell phones.

It looks like they'll give you a phone for texting and phone calls that isn't a smart phone. I should enter. I have a "smart" phone now that I only use for incoming phone calls and a few texts. Plus, in 6 months I'll be living without electricity for a year or so. This would be a cinch for me to win.

You could do all that with an iPad.

...and wifi, or with a LTE plan that costs as much as having a phone.

No thank you. I wouldn't want to give it up. I am not addicted to it, but it is very helpful to me.

I've only had my new-to-me first smart phone for six months or so, so it would be quite easy for me to give it up as I do ninety-nine percent of my computer activities on my laptop, rarely use the GPS app, and do not have social media applications on my phone. As long as work can still reach me via a call or text, I'd be good to go.

Yes, I'd just get a tablet. Easy!

I don't have a smart phone and never have had one. Since I haven't used a smart phone for a year, I'm thinking I'm already the winner.
