I'm in no way "addicted" to my phone, but I wouldn't give mine up for any amount of money. My phone allows me to see daily photos and videos of my new grandbaby, to stay in touch with my grown sons who all live in other states, to check in on my elderly parents (also in another state), to be able to reach anyone in an emergency, and just to stay connected with friends and family all over the country.

Call me a cynic kayanne, people say that all the time but rarely is that what they are doing.
